Campaign News from Fairtrade

Hello Glenis

Yesterday we went down to the Department for International Trade with our friends from 38 Degrees, Global Justice Now, SumofUs, War on Want and Traidcraft Exchange and handed in our petition to the Trade Minister, Liam Fox.

Together we handed in over 265,000 signatures demanding we have a democratic and transparent process for negotiating our future trade deals. As soon as we hear back we’ll let you know.

Can you help us keep up the pressure?

In order to continue to change trade for good and create a better future for farmers, we’re asking our most dedicated supporters, like you, if they can donate to support our work.

A donation from you will strengthen our policy and campaigns work in the UK and support projects to bring Fairtrade to more farmers. With your help we can research the impact of events like Brexit on the lives of poor farmers and make sure their voice is heard when the powerful are making decisions.

Donate Now:

In these changing and often challenging times, you can help ensure we stay independent and continue to influence companies and governments. With your support we can help keep fairer trade on the agenda for millions of the poorest farmers and workers, so they can trade their way out of poverty.

Together we can change trade for good.

Thank you
